One of the top exponents of European hard-core, Denmark's Barcode first formed in 1995, and experience had only mysteriously named guitar player Panter as a invariant presence. Co-founding vocalizer Greg Fastrup and second guitar player Kenneth Madsen were dispensed with concisely subsequently the band's 1997 debut, Toilsome Jet Super Flash (overseen by top metal producer Tommy Hansen -- Helloween, Pretty Maids, etc.), and respectively replaced by Butch and Hatesphere phallus Jacob "Dr. J" Bredahl. Ensuing Barcode albums take included 1999's Beerserk, 2000's Aarhus Oedelaegger Julen rip 7", 2002's simply named Hard-core, and 2005's Face-off, as well as legion compilation appearances -- all of them dealing in only the near authentic and utter hard-core.
